the plants wouldn't do anything beneficial to their survival

Well that sucks. What are the plants for? I called UPS today and they said they won't tell me when they would deliver it just by the end of the day. So I also found out that they are only about an inch long and are in a 14in back with half water and half O2. I'm sure this doesn't make the situation better, but I really want this guys to make it.

no idea what the plants are for... regardless of their lack of oxygen, they will also be dealing with really high water temp (which also doesn't help with oxygenation), a build-up of ammonia over 5 days, and the fact that they have probably been munching on each other.

No tracking #?

I have a tracking number. They are arriving tomorrow but they can't tell me what time. The best I can do call after it has left for delivery and they might be able to figure out what time frame.

I have another question. If when it arrives there are still a few alive, what exactly should I do to try to insure his survival? Like removing dead fish or adding a little of my water to dilute the ammonia.

I'd float for 10 minutes & pour them into a net--get them into the tank asap. Do not put their water into the tank.

i would actually start a drip line and acclimate them properly... the last thing those fish would need is to go into shock by just dumping them into the tank.

I think getting them out of that nasty, acid water, ASAP, is more important.
