Hello, friends. I am trying to decide between a solo serrasalmus rhombeus or a small group or pygocentrus nattier. Please recommend the better option to me so I can decide on which species. I have a 100 gallon tank with double filtration, and low light levels. Thank you.

depends on what you are looking for with a rhom you will get little to no movement while young with red bellys depending on how many you get they swim in schoals, also rhoms grow larger (but take a very long time)while red bellys grow between 10 to 12 "hope this helps

Red bellies will be a more interesting tank to watch, as they will actually move around and interact with each other. The rhom, as stated, will probably just sit there.
