Need help in ID-ing 20" catfish

well i did get him for free so it doesnt hurt to give him away for free as long as he goes to a good home. you got me thinking about it. lol

200 gal is nothing for them...find a good home.

Yeah I was going to say this, beat me to it.

Hybrid fish (as well as plants incidently) grow larger than the species they are hybridised from, also grow faster etc.

I have a dog that is a hybrid of a chihuahua and japanese chin and both of his parents are smaller than 6 pounds. He grew to 17 pounds due to hybrid vigor. Or maybe it was like Clifford and he just got a lot of love lol...
 
6'..I call bs. Show a picture of one that large.
 
TSN X RTC is a "new" hybrid... there are a few which are only in the 2-3 year old range that are more than 40" in length that members on here own. a 6' specimen isn't out of the range of possible at all IMO... but it will take tens of years to get one that size so we will have to wait to see :D

Necro's BigBoy will be there at some point I'm sure :D
 
looks to be a hybrid the face is to rounded to be a shovel nose.
