NEED HELP! Stringray won't eat pellets

My stingray eats worms but not pellets. I can't keep feeding him enough worms because I can't catch enough everyday. I have hikari sinking carnivore pellets but he doesn't bother with them at all. I've tried everything. I starved him till he was extremely skinny and I was scared for his life but he still wouldn't eat them. I've even tried rubbing the pellets in worm alike before dropping them in. Please help me or he will die. What else can I do to make him eat the pellets???

That is a good idea I totally overlooked that. But still, I would like him to start eating the pellets sice I bought a 2.2 puns bag of them plus they are much less costly now that I already have them.

Cut the worms up into a cup then soak/marinate the pellets in the worm blood and pieces (stirred). Stick in fridge long enough for the pellets to absorb the worm juices. Then feed the pellets only otherwise they will eat just the worm pieces. If it doesnt work the first time keep trying it. This method has never failed me, even with shrimp and talapia or other frozen foods.
 
First of all my ray is alive and not starving. Second of all I am asking help how to convert him to pellets. Third of all the pellets were not cheap at all. Go troll somewhere else. And thank you ShadowStryder I will definitely try that method.

i am feeding my ray's cut shrimp, cut squid n cut fish... it eats them like hell
