need help with sump tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Not saying buy that pump but look how inefficient the blue pump u mentioned was. not sure what electricity costs are but the difference saving a few hundred wwatts on something that will run 24/7 will probably outweigh the cost. Nevermind when that blue one burns out after a few months you will be s.o.l. Or a good aquarium pump is warenteed for years

ok so i thought over the return pump situation and i couldnt stop thinking about the reeflo... all the reviews said it was amazing and that reeflo does replace malfunctioning units.... so what i did is postponed the aquarium pickup date and started selling things on CL so..... i calculated that after selling all of the stuff i have for sale i will come up with just around 431 bucks..... ik that that isnt enough to buy the filter hust yet but its a good start.... gl to me..... ty brich999 for the inspiring google you told me to do lol... still gotta get sand and a heater for the tank too..... :nilly: and build a stand which i will do this weekend. :headbang2 i plan to get that filter lol

Maybe you should just keep the 125 if you can't afford to keep the 330 running with good filtration? I know you mentioned it comes with bio balls already but you are gonna need other filter media and a pump to push the water back into the main tank.
