So I went to take a look this morning and it looks like it "contracted"! I think it was attributed to him eating the pellets soaked in the epsom mix within the last three days (wasn't eating much before).

I plan to lightly feed with the soaked pellets for a couple days and maybe some peas?

Then one dose of Seachem Kanaplex for the Kanamycin. Should I soak pelllets in and/or add directly to water per directions?

Thanks folks.

Well done. Good looking severum and lucky to have an owner that cares.

Thanks. Well I just hope it doesn't return so dont want to get too excited. If it doesn't happen again I'll keep him there for another week.

Don't feed peas, just carry on with what you have been doing. Kanamycin should be added to the water, fish readily absorb that med via skin & gills, no need to feed. Most effective in harder water, via soft.

Looking much better.
