I follow them

ok i just moved the gator out.. a friend of mine is taking care of it now..

now my stock is down to
1 crossback golden aro 35cm, already with a minor splitted tail.. i susspect it had a fight with the gar.. i see the gar has splitted tail fin also..

1 albino red oscar 20cm
1 tiger oscar 18cm
1 female fh 12cm.. i find this fh funny.. she thinks shes an oscar i believe.. she always swim in a pack with 2 other oscars everywhere they go. no aggressions or whatsoever. got her with the oscars since they were all juveniles

ive narrowed my decisions for my new stockings to

option A :
3x sumatra tiger datnoids about 20cm each..
this so far i see as the most reasonable option tho..

option B :
1x leopoldi stingray about 14cm disc.. or should i get a pair instead?? im concerned by their bioload tho if i get 2 of them in a go.. the price is a lot cheaper if i buy a pair than just one from this vendor. how long i can keep the ray in my current tank (8 L x 2.5 W x 2 H)??.. if i can keep it for at least 2 years or so before upgrading to a bigger footprint (3ft or 4ft width) then i dont mind to be honest..

1 leopoldi stingray 14cm costs me equivalent to 250 usd.. if i get a pair i just need to pay 350usd.. hmmm...

I don't know, from what I've head rays are pretty high maintenance and they can be fish killers. I would get a bigger size catfish, definitely datnoids, fire eel?, a marble goby (sleeper goby, clown knife, LUNGFISH

Depends what filtration you have
2x fluval fx6 with 4 liters seachem matrix for the bio media total
1x eheim 2260 with 5 liters seachem matrix

total 9 liters seachem matrix for bio media which can treat up to 900gal tank based on the product descriptions (1L treat up to 100gal).

i can do 50% WC weekly, but if i have to do 2 WC weekly i can not. I use seachem prime for the conditioner.
