2x fluval fx6 with 4 liters seachem matrix for the bio media total
1x eheim 2260 with 5 liters seachem matrix

total 9 liters seachem matrix for bio media which can treat up to 900gal tank based on the product descriptions (1L treat up to 100gal).

i can do 50% WC weekly, but if i have to do 2 WC weekly i can not. I use seachem prime for the conditioner.

50% I would say is good, for the aro, dats and 1-2 rays. Of course when they grow they will produce more waste, but 140 gpw should be sufficient

now im questioning my oscars compatibility with stingrays.. wil they do ok? i gotta hate to get rid any of the fish in the near future like i did with my favorite gar tho..

ok i guess i will go with 3 tiger datnoids..
it seems 2 oscars and 1 flowerhorn are too risky to be kept together with a stingray..

good idea dude I think in the end you will be happier with less water changes, are you thinking about some larger catfish, eels, maybe a sleeper goby

im thinking of fire eel actually.. but my tank preferance (simple no decors) with the eel preferance (a bunch of hiding places) dont match up lol..

catfish tend to go too big hmmm... i need a bottom dweller to complete the tank i think

I do think the eel would like hidey holes to feel more secure. If you were in the US you could get bigger bichirs... is there no one there that you can get a more mature sized one from?

currently at the nearby LFS all of the bichirs are small.. less than 10cm.. i gotta order it online if i want ones with size 15-20cm and above for like 10-20$ each... the 50$ shipping cost make it out of price..unless i buy in a bulk to make it cost effective lol
