I don't trust my grandmother to watch my plants, much less my fish. Sad part is she still drives (she's 80 something)... good thing I live on the other side of the country...

I mean seriously, I can't see a grandma doing any of that, much less remembering. She has a life too! She probably just wanted you to not worry and have fun on your vacation. At least you learned your lesson now, I mean, that's what you get sometimes. Have your LFS keep them next time, and don't talk bad on gram grams. Besides, barbs are like, 50 cents or less around here, bettas are like ,three bucks, it's not like you had a tank full of Rays or Aro's to worry about. So just chillax and let it go, granny's don't last forever, and you can always buy more fish
