New 1100 Gallon Indoor Pond!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You are wrong. The sand is perfectly fine and doesn't start to stink. Also we don't need BOLD to read or 3 random posts to get the count up...

Awesome!!! couple of q's 1 It looks like you have 1 Pseudoplatystoma tigrinum and also a Pseudoplatystoma fasciatum is that correct or is that a rtc/tsn I see? 2 are you worried about the longevity of that pond??

I'm not really worried about the longevity of the pond, other members have run similar setups for over a year with no problems and I'm at 6+ months with no problems.

In the pond is a pseudoplatystoma fasciatum (TSN), sorubim lima, and a planiceps. I have a tig in the 240. ~Trent

"plus it would look mad ghetto overhanging on the sides even more so then having a swimming pool fish pond in my house does already ;)" haha, awesome.

How do you like the tigrinius I was thinking of getting one for my tsn and rtsn tank?

I love my tig, they are a bit tempermental when it comes to water quality. I would be careful having a tig in with a RTCxTSN hybrid, it will grow alot faster and it would be a bad suprise to find a $300+ dollar tig in the mouth of a $35 hybrid one morning...

Good water quality though, plenty of dissolved oxygen, and a neutral ph should keep a tig happy though :)
