I am a smart guy and rarely start things I connot do the right way (ekcept for speel, of corse). Hence my seeking advice.
Nothing wrong with being a newbie. Do yourself a favor and research the nitrogen cycle pertaining to the aquarium. It is good to understand how you biological filtration works. Also knowledge of water parameters such as ammonia, nitrItes, nitrAtes, pH carbonate hardness(kh) and general hardness(gh) is very helpful.
