New 300g stocking help

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Okay I will grab a 20g tomorrow. Can you be more specific with the salt treatment? I have treated ich with salt and raising the temp and have treated parasites with medicated food but never treated viral infections.

Thank you

1 tsp. per gallon and regular temperature. keep water in pristine condition and hopefully things will improve.

The freddys spots are clearing up and the carpitis and salvini are doing well.

I want to get the rest of the 300 stock soon. The 75 being used for quarantine needs to be broken down while I remodel. So I need to get through that process.

The stock so far will be.

1-ebjd
1-aregentea
1-carpintis
1-salvini
1-freddy
1-striped raphael

I do not want anymore cichlids but want to add more catfish. Does anyone see a problem with adding?

One synodontis eupterus and two pimelodus blochii.

If I add those 3 catfish can I fit a bichir of some kind also?

Fish are in the 300. The carpintis is doing great, a lot of personality very curious and first one to the glass when I approach. The salvini is skittish and is not very yellow but is doing okay. The freddy is the one who is not doing well. It looks healthy now but is scared to death and wont leave from the back corner of the tank by the filter tubes. He eats but I have to drop the food into that corner. Tank is peaceful at this time and hes not being bullied. Still have the red spot severum in here and it is currently the tank boss. Does anyone have experience with a parachromis hiding all the time? Does he look okay to you guys?

Also added a synodontis, 2 blochii and a delhezi bichir that are doing okay.

Fish are doing well. Added a palmas and senegal bichir. Freddy comes out to eat but pretty much stays in his corner.

Tank boss.

Tank looks beautiful, I wish I could get ken that big.
I’m sure as the Freddy grows even more everyone else will be in the corners.
