New 340g for Rays

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
What's the wattage on the Metal Halide?
What are the sexes of your rays?
I really like the setup. The background color is very natural and unique. Makes me want to take down my black background and go green... :)

I am keeping it simple, I have a 6 foot 145 that I partitioned off into three chambers and gonna run
submerged media with air pumped from underneath to provide 02 to the BB. 1600 GPH Overflow and a Mag Drive
for the return. Will have Ball valves on both outlets and one on the return.
Then I am keeping the two FX5s that are packed with Ehfisubstrate Pro Bio Media on there also.
Tank is 1/2" glass all the way around and bottom is 3/4". Not sure on the wattage
of the Halide, it came with the tank and I have been busy getting everything setup to
look. But will try to find out.
I have 3 females and 1 male with another female on the way, hopefully soon.

Thanks everyone for the interest and compliments.

Sweet looking tank, Congrats. I dig the oddball DMNS too :D

Flower is reallllllll niceeeeeee

I finished my first sump build today, had a few quirks to work out but with the help of a couple of forum members its all worked out. You know who you are and you have my thanks.
Still waiting for the media but everything is flowing evenly. Although the pump is a little noisy, which I hope to quiet down when I skin and put doors on the stand. Just so everyone knows before you ask, I am going with submerged media with air being pumped from underneath to provide 02 to the Media. This way I have appx. a 110-120g of water volume for the tank.

Some pics of the final product. Thanks for looking and comments welcome.
