What are the sexes of your rays?
I really like the setup. The background color is very natural and unique. Makes me want to take down my black background and go green...

That Metal Halide is 150 Watts.

I see there is a union on the outlet side of the pump. Did you use unions in any of the other plumbing sections? Reason I'm asking is I used a few on my return lines in case I ever needed to take them apart or remove the sump. I've noticed lately that the return flow in my tank is reduced and I need to take some time and take the return lines apart and clean them.

Thanks, No I didn't put any unions on the overflow outlets, but I should have. I put the union on the
return side above the pump in case I had to change it for some reason.

what type of paint did you use on the background, looks great. do you see any streaks

3 coats of Rustoleum-Hunter Green-Satin with a roller. No streaks, just be sure it dries before applying each coat.
