New 360 gallon Stingray Tank

Nice tank i jelous i have a 300 thats 8x24x30h i would thove to find one that is the dimensions of yours. Just curious why didnt you want to use a sump i know the fx5 is awesome filter i use one also. Just askin

weight and to keep it simple. I Have sumps under all my saltwater tanks of course, but on this freshwater tank, wanted to keep it simple. Plus they rays and fish came from a 250 that already had two Fx5s est on them, so it made it easy to change it over. Used all the water, sand and the two Fx5s on this new tank, then added water (of course) another filter and more sand. This way the cycle was fast and small (if any, which I have not noticed in any of the testing)
 
That is enough filtration as long as the Bio is setup well and he does not kill all the Bio in the filters. Water changes will keep it good also. With rays the nitrates can be the worry but rays are ok with nitrates being a little high.

Been awhile since I got to post.
Had to put the tank work on hold for a few but got started on it again today.

Got the panels cut and made. Will start painting them tomorrow.

and i hate to derail ..but..what kind of car is that?
also..is the Iroc running? i have a 350 racing engine i am looking to drop in a nice older chevy.

anyway, again, great tank...
