The flow is so heavy I think my biggest concern is Hornwort breaking apart lol.

Any other suggestions for topwater/midwater oddballs, deadeye?

Hard to think of much. Something large will add to the bioload too much imo. Something small will get eaten. Archers or butterflies maybe?

TO answer this question, the bulkheads were never used. they were sealed up prior to me owning the tank.

Do you know exactly how they were sealed? I would find that helpful for sealing the bulkhead on my 473 liter.

You will need to reduce the flow on that tank at the mid levels due to your fx5 or figure a way to slow down the output dramatically. That's a lot of flow for a 4 foot tank. Perfect for riverine fish, not so much for other fish who prefer less flow.
