New addition to the 360~~Venezuelan

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Vey nice new addition:D

that's sick looking! i though jo at first, but it's not. can't wait til someone figures out what it really is. doesn't really matter though, i guess, as it's stunning no matter what it is

I would also say it doesn't look quite like a ven to me. I've never seen that yellow color so strong, and the big pink belly made me think female as well (if it is a ven).

Good luck with them, hope they settle down and get along. I just tried to introduce two ven's together (thought I had a male and female, near equal size) and the new one was dead within 15 minutes... :(.

They're fine to this point. The "ven" has a lot more red colouring than just the belly. About 3/4 of the body is actually red. But yeah, I'm open as to what species it may be. :)

stunning!!!

Thanks, but what about the fish? :naughty:

How bout them still shots huh? The video is great and all but it doesn't allow for good visualization. Plus you have intense photography skills, so it would be definitely worth it. Try to snap a few of the pelvic fins too. . . .

It looks like Cr. lugubris.

Here's the beauty of what we were discussing in another thread. I can almost guarantee you that when smaller, this fish looked just like a baby vennie. Someone took a flyer on it and ended up with this beaut. You just never know what you'll end up with.

I can't wait to Jer's "vennies" all growed up!

They were called "Black Line Pikes" when I originally got them :naughty: Then I gave em to a buddy that was real good with pikes and they came back to me about a year ago. All of the arrows pointed to Vennie, but, Vennies aren't described, so, who can say for sure
