They're not going to show signs of xanthism until the F2 generation, since all of the F1 fish will be heterozygous for xanthism.

(And yes, I'm using F1 and F2 in it's proper form. Not the bastardized form fishkeepers use :D) The xanthic jag and normal female are the P generation, fry are the F1 generation. Fry X fry will be the F2.

Females will mature around the 6" mark.
