New Asian Arowana

the closest to handfeed is i drop cricket when my arowana approach on top, it jumped a little but there is gap from my hand. Never tried it again since. Usually i just dump food in water and leave. I might try it. But will it trigger arowana to have habbit of jumping to tank cover?

That, I don’t know. Sometimes my arowana jumps at the lids when it seems water droplets on the lids due to evaporation. As long as lids are secure I assume it would be fine. It’s quite a unique experience to see arowana jump from water to water from your hand. I have videos of it jumping but I’m lazy to upload to YouTube.

Moving of all the fishes due to renovation today. Hope that none of them have any serious injuries during the move. Bichirs were trashing and banging into the glass a lot, very sure all have injuries which I hope aren’t deadly.

Not mine, just someone selling, but just for sharing purposes. I’m sure not many people have seen this. look at this! I have never before seen a datnoid which looks like a bee. Yellow and black variation, and considering it’s size and uniqueness it’s price is worth. Anyone seen anything like this before???

Yea they're not as common in the hobby so they command a higher price
