A good feeding rhom is more likely to grow fatter rather than bigger/longer in the long run and thus likely to be on the unheatlhy side, im saying this after growing one from 9in to 13in in 5 years and is now fed once every 2 weeks or so, it has has been dewormed a few times without there being any evidence of having any afterwards and speaking to people like Mr Mah who have grown rhoms for 20 years and done their research

btw... the vet you are talking about? hes a vet he knows everything to do with animals, and the things animals pick up... why coz hes a vet, he doesnt need to study worms to know they will slow the growth of an animal you thick ****

A bit of advice for you when you get your rhom, dont feed it too much, especially on oily food such as salmon n trout else its body will grow out of proportion to its head or foods that carry the growth inhibiting hormone such as smelt. The parasitic worm debate has been going on for years it doesnt need a vet to tell you that they absorb nutrients from their host
haha, i don't need to have a rhom grow out contest to prove my fish keeping skills to you. i take great care of my fish and i'm sure others that have seen my stuff for awhile now can attest to that. i couldn't give a **** less what you do with your fish, i just don't understand how you can argue so much and peddle your own unproven ideas as fact. i can make any outrageous claim that i want and argue it all damn day, but the reality is that i would have no argument if i didn't have proof to back it up.
I used to worm my Discus which were tank bred ones. I don't know if that did any good, it was what I was told they needed! Just like to look after my fish. Never tried it with my rhoms though.

i dont see what ur big hang up is, just worm ur rhom about 3 times a year to ensure growth isnt slowed even more by internal parasites...wtf is so hard to take about that.
