Based on the pics I saw below, he looks settled in well because his color is olive green.

Normal Nigerian laps don't have much contras, and their color varies from neon green, to olive, to grey, to somewhat tanned.

If you're looking for a high contrast lapradei pattern, you'll want to look into purchasing some of the river variants from Toyin at Rehoboth Aquatics.

The prices are great and the quality of the stock is unbeatable.
