New Black Ghost Knife Won't Eat?

my 3" bgk is in a growout tank that is under my main tank so it is hard to see in there because it is only a couple inches off the floor after the 2nd day I have only seen him once and that was last water change when I picked up his hide to verify he was still alive. I have 2 bichirs in there that are 3" and 4" so I put shredded tilapia in there daily I was also putting bloodworms but it just got too expensive putting them in both the growout and the main tank(it's all my fire eel will eat) I also have a large breeding population of guppies in the tank so he has access to healthy feeder fish at all times I really can't wait till he is big enough for the main tank
 
Hey mine black ghost fish not eating anything bought yesterday they even not come up for frozen blood worms as these worms are on the top they do not submerged what to do ?
 
BGK are nocturnal so the best time to feed is at bedtime it may be a while before you see them eat, I rarely see mine eat but he has grown 3" in the last several months so I know he is eating. Do you have a place he can hide during the day?
