I dont like Civics or any riceburners for that matter. But unfortunatly they are the "hotrodders" of our generation. They are taking everyday cars and making them go faster, just like they used to do back in the day with Hudsons, Mercs, and Ford

I'm not a fan of FWD cars, but Honda has my respect because of the quality of their engineering and products. The profound lack of torque of VTech 4-cylinders is something that bothers me though. I wish the RWD S2000 had more torque.
IMO, Subaru WRXs and Dodge Neon SRT4s are the best bang for the buck. $2k into a used WRX or SRT4 (uppipe, turbo back exhaust, Stage 2 map) and you have a 300+ crank hp/300+ lbs-ft, mid 12 second quarter mile monster.

Excuse this question if it seems dumb. I'm not a huge fan of an import. But anyways...What is the price tag on that thing (including shipping)? 222 horse? So, that makes it...like...22 horse more than the civic SI? I'm not seeing what the big deal is here.

Well, the car overall including chasis, brakes, and overall power is much better then the SI. It is brought over because of the rarity of it and to promote the JDM aspect of it.
