Hi Guys and Gals,

I have just started setting up my Discus tank and thought I would post some pics for your recommendations.

Tank is a 5x2.5x2 I have a sump with heaps of bio running at 300LPH and a Eheim Pro3e connected to a Deltec 39W UV Sterilizer.

Current PH is 7.0 and ORP is at 450 but as I only put the driftwood in today I am hoping it will get a bit lower than that before I introduce my Discus.

really nice set up. a group of wilds would look great. don't worry too much about your ph. it's fine now unless your planning on breeding.

Don't worry about the pH, they will breedin that. Trying to alter it will likely create an unstable pH and more harm than good.

Dont think you have much to worry about. Your tanks are always top notch. Love the drift wood layout.

And as 3dee stated....a group of wilds would look great in there.

Looks great, can't wait to see the discus!

Color and vigor of fish can be negatively affected by lack of trace minerals.
