yea i know haha, i caught a bunch of blues a few years back. when i was a true youngin
that would be a cool trip though, out to the canyons?

i have half inch to 1 inch mexican beach pebbles as my substrate in my piranha tank. the thing is that food gets stuck under the rocks (so annoying!!) i have added slate to try and stop the food from falling. my question is would a pleco be ok with that kind of substrate. i need some solution. thanks.

A pleco won't care about the substrate as long as it's got some driftwood to hang out on. (Are plecos ok with piranha?) Show us some pictures of your setup bumpy! If you've got slate on top of rocks, I think that might generate some anaerobic zones where the water doesn't flow and toxic gasses build up. You might want to go for a smaller diameter gravel until the piranha are big enough that their food is too large to fall between the pebbles.

if you like fishing for stripers.you better hurry and get your lines wet, while they still in the rivers.

ill post some pics...keep in mind i have my old substrate in pantyhose and the old decorations lol. those wont be there in the long run
