New Goonch (B. rutilus)

really nice rutilus. What size will be expected in captivity? I have read 70 cm somewere, but is it correct?
He will be going in with a pearl stingray, a 12" indo-pacific tarpon, and 12" diamondback sturgeon
Thank you! In C Chicxulub thread on goonch ID and care, it states max size as no more than 3'. However, I know plenty of other people on mfk have much more experience with raising B. rutilus, but I am not too sure of exactly how large they were grown out to be. I'm sure C Chicxulub knows more specifics
Biggest rutis I've seen in the hobby are about 18in/45cm. I suspect they could get bigger, but this species is quite slow growing.
Yes, I've owned him since June 2019, grown out from around 5" or so to 12-13" now. Temp has been 78-80F. I will be moving him to my 6000gal koi pond in a few months
I have to be honest and say I haven't been following any individual fish that aren't mine *that* closely in a few years. The biggest I've seen have been in the 18" ballpark.
What I can tell you is that I had my rutilus for two years before it died when I was moving. In that time, it grew from 6" to 10". It ate well and it ate regularly.
