nice looking rhom.
you'll soon have a lot more feeders :) you should power feed those convicts to they can grow faster and lay more eggs.

I have a seperate breeding tank....when they get about an inch I dump em all in with the rhom. These are 2 of the last 5 that have made it for about a month. There is another batch of about 40 a little over half an inch now. I was hesitant about adding 30 inch long fish. But Ive never had such a clean tank. They take care of all leftovers and baby snails and planaria. He mainly only eats them for entertainment I still feed him filets or shrimp every other day. Definetaly makes the boredom of a Rhom tank a bit more bareable. At least there is some activity when he is being antisocial.

I feed the babies in the other tank 2-3 times a day of baby brine shrimp or powdered fry food. They take about 5-6 weeks to make it to an inch....is there a better way?

i think what you are doing is about right.

just feed it whole and watch it swallow it up. probably should put the earthworm on some clean diet first, so you don't get dirt all over your tank.

I never thought about feeding my rhom earthworms. Do you chop them up or feed it to him whole?

I feed my RBP whole. Kinda fun to watch. They'll snag them and then shake it like a dog with a chew toy.
