No problem. Ever since i seen a video of a pacu playing with a dog toy they have been my favorite, lol. Ill be going and doing all my pricing and maybe even purchasing tommarow, ill post pics when i do get started
 
Heater wise, Big als sells 200w for $5. They are hang on but I used them to heat my 750 pacu pond (until my 36" pacu decided it looked taisty) but you could get like 5 for inside your sump.
 
great links doc. and generally the idea is to give as much possible space to the pacu as possible. my 2cents nothing less than length 6 by 2 by 2.

well i went to my local tractor/supply store today, and they are frickin cool man!! bunch a stuff. Well i went in search of a 300 gallon stock tank, and yup i found em. And omg they are BIG!!! way bigger then i thought, which is a major pluss. I didnt bring my tape measure though. Im starting to think it might not fit through my door way. So to save a trip anyone with a 300 gallon rubbermaid stock tank? if so i need the height size!! it would be appreciated.

Its $199.99, which to me doesnt sound bad. If i do get this ill be searching for the cheapest 55 gallon i can find on craigslist for a wet/dry. It will be so easy to setup DIY style. Probably grab the pump from harbor freight, theres one down the street.

So enough reading and go measure that STOCK TANK!!, and then come right back.

Also anybody think 600watts is enough to heat?

I am planning a 800 gallon cinderblock and pond liner pond, this is a cheap option...
