Looks like it's watching me take pictures, the way it's eye shows up. Very tame and calm. Still extremely happy with the Aimara.

Nice, I have yet to feed live. My guy is still shy to eat in front of me but I have caught him taking down shrimp twice. The food I put in is always missing so I know he is eating.

Any plans to get him off live foods?

Caution! Don't let that acting like a Oscar, fool you. He'll beg for food but he'll also probably nail your the 1st chance he gets. I know mine will

Oh yeah, it would bite me and like it, no doubt. 95% of my Aimara Wolffish diet is something other than live. I have 2 quarantine tanks for feeder fish. They stay in there for at least a month, if I buy them. I usually feed the feeders Hikari Massivore Pellets about 30 minutes before I feed the Aimara Wolffish. Usually it's shrimp, fish filets , crayfish tail meat, ect... Everything is frozen beforehand. Also, I never hand feed it. Ever. Just drop it into the tank after I tap on the lid a couple of times. It comes right up usually as soon as it sees me enter the room.

Did yet another water change today. It took a good swipe at me from 3 feet away on the other side of the tank. Scared me pretty good. My wife thought it was REALLY funny. In reality , I don't think that it would really bite me.... Yeah, whatever! Lol!!! Gets the ol' adrenal glands working! That's for sure.IMAG0612.jpg

I just got nailed the other week by my foot long, puppy dog black wolf, didn't know I was bleeding till my wife was rolling on the floor laughing! I can only imagine what youre going to go through! im thinking of drilling a feed hole in my glass lid, im so tired of the "ceasar milan" calm him down for a minute before feeding method! an ink store around me had about a 28" aimara in the lobby that was crazy agro... have fun

Goes out of it's way to try to attack the cat. Doesn't like it at all. The Aimara Wolffish is so fast when it strikes, that it's really hard to get a good picture of the aggressive behavior. You can see when you look at the pictures what I'm talking about. It thinks that everything it's in contact with is either a threat or a food source.IMAG0744.jpgIMAG0745.jpgIMAG0742.jpg
