I saw that snaily snail. They are in most of my tanks. They don't seem to reproduce or bother anything. Came from a creek on my property. I know my Fahaka Puffer likes to eat them!!!

You're so lucky to have two huge ponds! One day I want atleast one in a warmer climate then I'm in now and hopefully I could keep a bunch of large extotics.

It's taken a lot of hours and money to get my larger pond in the good condition that it's in. My wife, daughters and I, caught 7 Largemouth Bass last year over 10 pounds and 25"+ long. Biggest bass I've caught out of the pond yet ,was a 12lb2 oz fatty. My Aimara Wolffish has a new favorite food...earthworms!!! I went outside, now that it's sunny and 70℉+ and caught up some worms to feed all of my fish. I've never attempted to feed the wolffish any worms, but it ate them better than it has ever eaten anything.... period!!! I found about a half-dozen giant, nightcrawler sized ones and the Aimara Wolffish ate them till they were gone. Had a HUGE fat belly bulge and still wanted more. I had to move the cord for the H.O.T. Magnum filter to take a picture of the wolffish's gut and it hit the glass trying to get the cord for the filter, thinking that it was another earthworm. It now has the biggest, fattest belly bulge that I've ever seen on it!!! On top of that, it still wants, and could eat more!!! Had to quit feeding it ,for fear of it dying from overeating. Maybe not possible to eat itself to death, but I just wanted to make sure that I don't have any trouble with anything on this fish. Especially anything that I can control. Thats so cool , bet you were satisfied in the end. Should try to grow huge channel catfish. Maybe pike and pickerel, would be cool. That's awesome, I fed one mala I had before earth worms. Took them quick, hand fed them since they were long so I could keep some distance. That was the one that let me pet him. And don't think it'd kill him but it wouldn't necessarily be good either. Maybe it'll increase growth though. They're kinda funny with fat bellies lol.

I've already got channel catfish that are big in there. About 15-20 pounds. Also have grass pickeral. They stay in the heavily weeded area's in the shallow water where the two spring water tributaries run into the pond. They don't get eaten that way. I think I got them from Zetts Fish Hatchery in Oswego, NY. It's been a long time, hard to remember. I can catch them if I really try hard. Their main food source is Gambusia affinis, small sunfish, and small frogs&tadpoles. It's a really nice place early in the morning in the spring ,when the fog is rising off the water and the wild turkeys are still roosted and gobbling. Just awesome. Far enough off the road that you hear nothing except wild sounds.

Sounds amazing, I'd love to have that in the back yard lol hopefully one day I'll have something similar. Must cost a fortune though.

Hey Bro,
Nice little fatty Beast :D

I love the color mate! How big is he now?

How is your plan about the size of the final tank for him?

Greetings from Germany
