New Malawi Mbuna Tank

A couple recent photos. Some of the males are starting to color up. I forgot how much i enjoyed watching these guys.

In my excitement I ordered some Metriaclima membji OB marmalade cats off aquabid. They get here Tuesday!

Really love that rock work. Well done.

How much stone did you use?

A fair amount. It's some old masonry stone from Paisley Oregon. it's nice and flat, so it covers up theoverflows in this tank without taking up too much space.

Agree on the nice rock work. At first glance I almost thought it was a 3d background. Looks really good. Fish are looking good as well.

Haha! That's what my friend said. Before I got the fish, I sent him a photo of the rock work, and he asked me what was going in the tank. I told him mbuna, and his response was "why?". He was hoping I do Tanganyikans i think.
