  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
ahh i wana look for teeth but its so tough to find them in the sand. especially since its white. and his new set is in already. 3 days! ill post pics of before and after

Wow!! Man, I would love to own a goliath someday, if only for the bigger teeth than my ATF lol. Your GATF looks great!

I doubt you'll find the shedded teeth anywhere in the tank, although it'd be cool. Most of the time you can only find the ones from payara since they're so much larger.

man it takes me about 100 photos to get like 3 good ones. stupid camera phone :p and thank you very much. i wana try to get a pic of my tats with their mouths open but its so hard

You need something better than a camera phone for that. Most of my pics I post are HD or HD dslr pics I take then upload to my computer then post here. For fast fish like atf and payara you need something with a fast shutter speed and iso.

For the teeth I agree with what was said above ^. I have a jar or teeth I find from my armatus. I only find them because I have a tile bottom in that tank so its easy to see them.

a tile bottom? how is that for keepin it clean? and how big is ur armatus? i cant wait till my red tails r bigger even tho i doubt theyll have the same monstrous teeth as an armatus. i just want them to get nice and white instead of silvery clear. i might even end up sellin them if an armatus comes up for sale. cuz i know theyd probably fight. or do u think since theres 2 tats it would be ok cuz it would spread out the aggression? and yea just sunk my spending money into finishing my tank :p a decent camera will be comin up in a while.

Taylor,

I gotta say I'm really impressed with you. A lot of guys who show up on here asking questions get all sort of butt hurt when they get advice that goes against their preconceived notions. We haven't seen that with you. You've made a real effort to do everything you can to care for your fish even if it means changing your method of care. You are a credit to the hobby and your fish are lucky to have you.

Is that a mudskipper? Awesome!! I just took my kids to the Baltimore National Aquarium and my son was obsessed with the mudskipper in there, I've never seen one for sale before. That thing looks awesome, how are they in a tank? Are they pretty active or do they just kind of stay in one area?
