i have a ?, i have a 8 to 9 inch motoro and he eats worms shrimp and so on. well he burnt himself on my heater and now he has fin curling and he stopped eating about 2 weeks ago, i have tried everything live bloodworms shrimp earth worms and he still won't eat, i know my water is fine cause my other ray is eating just fine can someone please help

If your ray has not eaten in two week, you have a problem. Im not sure it will even make it if it has not eaten for that long...
One thing you need to do first.. Get a cover on that heater..
Easy way, buy a piece of pvc pipe and drill a bunch of holes in it and slip it over the heater.. that way your other ray doent burn itself.
second, we would like to see pic of the hurt ray..
Is it moving around at all?
hows its breathing?
post a thread... so others find it and can help...

this is my first time on this site i don't know how to use it or to even post a pic, the ray will move around, but he stays in one spot most of the time. his breathing is not very good looks like, well not like my other one is he acted like he wanted to eat a week ago but he just would not swollow but he did try to put it in his mouth

my water is cloudy as hell all the sudden, what the hell?!
did my normal 25%ish water change on Sunday and now I have a bloom of bacteria it seems.

so I took out the divider today and for a few hours my retic left my motoros alone for the most part. I fed them some worms and that's when it went downhill....

the retic is very aggresive with food and latched onto one of my male motoros and would not let go. then, my motoro had a worm come through his spricale while eating and it would not come out. I went to pull it out for him but he wouldn't stay still and it eventually came out after he swam side to side in the tank a couple times.

now my retic is back to her normal routine of chasing the motoros around the tank picking at their backs.

I am thinking I am going to have to give her up...

Ya, seems she is making sure they know she is queen bee...
Dont think that will ever stop. Since its been so long, and she is still doing it, she may never stop. Im not sure if you can, but maybe get a tank just for her.

On another note, have you checked your water.. If your water is cloudy, your levels may be off. I know you did a water change Sunday like you said, but check your water levels, and do another water change. Your tank is not that old rt? Filter might be recycling again.. If thats the case, make sure you check the levels everyday for awhile till they stay normal for a few days and the water clears up.
