New NFL illegal snap/ref positional penalties

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'd feel the same way if my basketball team was fouling the other teams worse free throw shooter over and over with 5 minutes left in the game, especially if we're the superior team and it's not an effort to get back into a game that's slip out of reach.

Manning Man Crush = Hilarious.:D

As for Bball and fouls, "hack a shaq" ring a bell?? Anyways, as for the rules, etc. If you can get the team penalized, why not do it?? Manning will just make a 40 yeard pass to Wayne on the next play anyways.:headbang2

What really irks me, is the special care guys like Favre and Brady get... Everytime they get hit they cry for a flag...

Indy has been my favorite team to watch over the last 8 years and i've probably watched more indy games then any other team but I kinda think what manning does with this trying to catch an extra man running off the field is weak. It's football, suppose to be one of the manliest sports and they're trying to gain extra yards by trickery? Man up and beat your opponents the way it's meant to be played. Just bad Karma, probably why with all those winning seasons and playoff runs they only have one superbowl ring.

By that logic they should just get rid of kickers and punters, always go for it on 4th down, never run reverses or other trick plays, let the defense field as many players as they want to, get rid of their pads and play rugby, etc. EVERY coach and quarterback does the same stuff, Peyton's just better at it.

Every sport has proud traditions of trickery and "catching the other teamoff guard." The 12th man rule wouldn't even be in the conversation if we were to talk about trickery or questionable sportsmanship.

No where near the same thing and please show me teams that attempt to do the same thing over and over. Other teams take it when it happens, indy looks for it. They'll snap it without a play even called. You guys just sound silly taking pride in the fact that indy can take advantage of catching a 300+ lb man trying to sub out after being in the trenches.

Indy = Atlanta braves of the 90s

Lmao, you know i'm a braves fan. I'm just saying that manning's mancrush and fanboys are amazing. His run is similiar to atlanta's run, dominating a division and only equaling one championship.

My team lost to indy in the ship? I root for indy every post season, doesn't mean i have to like peyton attempting to brutalize a rule and use it a way it wasn't meant to be used. I get the feeling that alot of people arguing pro peyton taking advantage of the rules are young football fans and don't understand that most teams do not attempt to do such a thing. The rule was meant to protect defenses more so then protect the refs, hence, equalizing the playing field

LOL, I know. I was just given ya crap. :naughty:

I dont like the rule changes either but all the changes in the past 10 years have actually enabled manning to play a full career. there is not one defensive player in the league that would not love to hit the snot out of him. but qb's are protected because of many of the new rules. This one just protects the 45+ yr. old refs trying to keep up with the youngsters.
