Seems more a hard water setup with the coral and the coral sand.
If I think catfish I am thinking more wood caves I guess with softer acidic water.
Just me I guess, although I keep marines too so coral doesn't say catfish for me.

Should be a nice challenge and a great opportunity to set up a tank specifically designed. Kept these years ago and almost drove me crazy with their ability to escape even the best prepared tank.
A 50/50 land water tank would be a great project knowing this species does not live just in water. However, due to its eventual size, you would need to attempt this with a 6x2 minimum.
