yes laps do typically have 13-14, but i have seen some with 15 (uncommon though). e.g. i have a Tinkisso Guinea lap with 15 if you include the last one that's connected to the tail. Pbb usually 16, but can have as little as 14 like some of the ones from chad. So when the number of finlets is in this overlapping range, you can't use the finlets alone, you have to look at other characteristics. 16 or more, then you're ok in almost all cases, but still it's best to look at all the characteristics and not just the finlets.Tendou Souji;4430362; said:King-el, you mentioned that some laps do own 15~16 finlets but I've never seen one with this many finlets before.
