Nice frog, but get it off the moss! Moss can and will impact a frog. Many frog owners have lost theirs due to it Use eco earth, you'll love it!Makes cleaning easy too.

the moss is on top of eco earth,I hear this sometimes and then I hear its bs,imo, how can a frog eat and digest a mouse with bones and not a few strings of moss?

thats a nice little tomato frog you got
first frog or ?

Because over time it will block them.Think of how small the intestines are on those. And since it doesn't break down it never passes. The mouse breaks down, therefore it passes.Hey, it's your frog man.I container feed mine anyway.

So its proven that moss wont break down,Im not arguing but more just trying to get some hard evedince here.Im amazed that bone and fur will pass but not moss.I agree with you that its always safer to feed in something else though but if you got some solid stuff on the topic let me know,if anything its very interesting to me.

I don't know if I'm allowed to post links to other forums.Just join ANY frog forum and you'll see people who have dissected their frogs after their untimely death.Moss, everytime. The frog forums make stickies on it it's so bad.

those guys will really give you some info, thats where i go when i need to know something about my whites and pacmans, and yes the moss is said to build up and cause what is known as impaction, which will kill your frog
thats why i always feed in a seperate tank, what size tank is he in
humidity
temps during day and night
feeding what how often

Im not unfamiliar with impactions since Ive kept and bread beardeds and leos, along with a couple snakes and kept many more.Ive been around for all the arguing about the subject with all these others.I have seen x rays of sand impacting, however,Ive also had bearded dragons pass a 6 inch fake pothos leaf before too so it just makes me wonder sometimes.I believe you guys that they dissected them and found the moss, but how in the heck does moss not break down?
