New poly tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
If you guys look at the old sump and return post on this thread you'll see a hose that is connected on the opposite side of that long pipe.;)

love the tank but I dunno how you guys like such empty tanks.. maybe its because I keep the smaller polys and the bigger ones tare stuff up. But I love watching mine perch on things and stalk through my plants. and weave between all my vals. The 3 in my big tank actually pile in one cave like snakes will in a knot to sleep.

Love the poly collection though some stunners in there.

Thanks binge, i just love the look of bare tank, its easier to clean and i can spot rotting food, i like keep the aggression to minimum too( no territorial issue) plus i read somewhere from king-el post that poly grows faster when they dont have a hide out.

I never have ANY food that can even make it to 'rotting stage'. That's the fun of having a pearsei and red bay snook... they pack it away. And if they miss anything the polys always find it.

Im not so sure on that. My endli seemed to slow down once its hiding spot was removed. His comfort level is not what it used to be and while it has lessoned aggression I think he is a bit more wary than before and eats less.
