Thought i would throw a quick update here. For now moving away from the combo tank and have been collecting some of the more unique animals i found in my research

Have a large exo terra vertical tank coming soon might go something more aquatic with that, havent decided yet

Interesting idea...I've set up similar exhibits at the Bronx Zoo; difficult, however. The impact of the snakes urates/wastes would be hard on the fish, possib;ly lethal in that size tank given the volume prodeuced, etc. Scats/plants etc. will not take care of that. Most Green tree pythons do not drink from standing water, but some do...brackish water needed by archers would be another concern.

I've had wonderful land/water exhibits with archers (and scats, monos, bumblebee gobies, 4 eyed fish etc) using mudskippers and fiddler crabs in the land section. Various geckos might be possible, frog not due to brackish water (unless you can somehow manage to find the salt tolerant crab-eating frog (latin escapes me now)....if you do, let me know!
