Yes. They dont eat as much as i think they should. And theres a definite battle when its meat I drop in. I also do the frozen cubes (1), or flakes and pellets.

If you can find a pellet they will eat that’s probably good... variety is good too! Once they hit 5”- 6” aggression should be less, keep em fed and clean water and you should be good!
I never tried to get mine to eat pellets sadly and was anchored to feeding time of frozen shrimp/fish vs auto feeders as I have now.

Hahaha! All is calm. We are trucking right along.
Eating well and nips have cut down. Only one fin nipped in a couple of weeks. I thought about posting yesterday! Thank you for asking. I'm invested in these damn fish too. ???

Thanks! I swapped up the "plants" after the last nip battle. Seems to be less tension now. ?
