Awesome cats! We just got one in at work and I have to keep smacking myself so I will remember that I DON'T have room for it.lol
 
Anyone have any idea where these guys come from and what are they used for ???? Seems like a very odd mix to hybridize. I also recently saw the marble/niger mixes......WHY ?????

im pretty sure most of these hybrids come from Asia...I know they have the new TSNxIrridescent Shark...I didnt even know you could hybridize them..
 
I have one of these p.niger/TSN hybrids. I don't know why. I call it the "mutt" Ugliest fish I own hands down.

These hybrids seem much more attractive. Still tough to deal with the fact that someone is playing god though.

I for one would like to know where I can suggest the latest hybrid.....I would like a Dorado/Payara hybrid.....LOL
 
Oh, Frikkin' ey! (haha don't know what that means but it sounds sweet) did you say Irrdescent shark X TSN? Post pics if possible, wonder what they look like.. A Shark with Large belly and the head of a TSN :S
 
Mine still has one stubby barbell, lol. I have heard of a lot of strange hybrids lately. I've been doing a lot of research on it lately. There are some really crazy ones out there.
