Mine is fine now. Probably comming from the importer like that. Luckily mine survived. No signs of popeye anymore, and his stubby whisker is growing back now. He eats like crazy.

you shouldn't be worried, Alex(Fish Room Plus) sells excellent fish, a lot of the time they come from the exporter like that. I have made a bunch of sales with Alex and never had any problems with my fish. Any fish should be in qt. for a little while so you know it is eating and healthy.

Mine made it safely, I dosed the tank with a little melafix and some copper to be safe but its eating like a hog! ~Trent

everyones looks really nice! here is mine, he is just about 4 inches. I have a question, mine seems to breath a little heavier then my red tail. Is it normal for them to breath a little heavier? also what temp. do they do best in? thanks
