Im out of the race :( for now....

Lost both in a 24 hr period...They came in great,so nothing on Alex...they were eating well, and very active. I had them in a tank outside on my patio...no heater as the temp outside is a nice constant 84º..Had some guy working on the patio and I guess he saw the disconnected heater and thought he disconnected for his tools...well he connected it and f'd up everyone in the tank...When I got home they were all gasping for air...ended up losing bith cats, 2 bichirs, some baby Orino's and a couple of baby Indo's... :(. The 2 RTCxTSN cats survived though...not happy.
 
:( That really sucks!!! You should let him know how much money he just threw away for you. Honest mistake, I know. But still, such a bummer.
 
My wife did...I wasnt home...He actually left the money with my wife. Very nice guy, and genuinely sorry......I actually set-up a tank for him when he got his place....lol. Either way, Like I said it was an honest mistake...anyways....should be getting a couple of new RTCxPerruno soon... ;)
 
Yes, that was very nice of him. Good people like that are hard to come by, I bet he feels almost as bad as you though.
 
Mine is crashing hardcore. When I first got back in town tonight everything looked good but it looked like he was breathing hard, then I come back up stairs to feed it and its swimming wildly in loops through the tank. I noticed a small leision on its underbelly and am not sure if that is the problem or not. I hope it pulls through and that this isn't a sudden death pim sorta thing. It came in fine and was normal for the first couple days I had it but as of right now I'd be suprised if it makes it through the night. I dosed with copper and melafix tonight to try and fix whatever is wrong before its fatal, I'll keep ya posted ~Trent
 
Hybrid didn't make it through the night, guess I'll try again some other time with these next time they are available :(
