go ahead and feed spirulina and see if it does... if you didnt notice by now... none of TC JOE's MGs are true gold in color. I wonder why? :grinyes:

"Stimulates the production of enzymes that transport fats within the fish's body.
The fish utilized the fat to power growth instead of just storing it and becoming flabby. "

Awesome, it even counteracts the fattyness of the mealworm ;)

well..if thats the case..then why feed spirulina?? Since both aros can attain such gold shine when they turned 5 yrs old? Mine is never being fed at all...urs are being fed...and still they need 5 yrs to get to the shine required?

Why waste the extra money then?? to feed spirulina?

I merely have a humble jardini, but I can say in all honesty it has coloured up a lot more since I've been feeding it spirulina loaded mealworms.

And that's I dunno, 2 or 3 weeks. It has become darker with a pink tinge, and the pink spots on it's tail are much more prominent.

Yes, for color enhancing effect..it is justified..but to help cross back aros to have full crossings.....this is a sweeping statement.

i would need to feed the meal worms anyway so whats the harm in feeding them spiralina

you guys can make any fish look good with the silly lights you add to make them look like that

without the light most of the great looking aro pics we see from SG the fish are no better than anywere else in the world

i just dont see the point of trying to make the fish out to be somthing its not with all the crap lights the owner is just fooling them selfs
