I do 80% on a 180 gallon tank
So it really depends on the size of tank and your stocking of fishes and size...
I based my water change schedule of nitrate buildup when in the states, and a drop in alkalinity (the waters buffering capacity). Anytime my tank water hit a nitrate level of over 5pp, I did a water change.
To keep parameters where I wanted them, I found a 30-40% water change was needed every other day or so.
Where I am now, a 20% every other say works for me.

You keep asking the same question over and over. Your fish will let you know how much and often to feed them. As far as kk parrots they have normal mouths correct? That means on top of being mean and nasty in general they also have the hardware available to inflict serious damage as well. Your tank sounds like a massive time bomb that could go off at any time and sadly it will probably be the frontosa that suffer.
