Not a single leak. But like i said before, unless i want my pump rotor getting jammed with a baby shark, something has to be done about the intake. Any suggestions or links for intakes or skimmer boxes or anything like that??

So far so good. Lemme go make sure there wasnt a tsunami in the basement.

Oh yea, another 100 pounds of fine grade sand. Bringing the total up to 490 pounds.

This is amazing! How much has it cost you all up? If it's not to dear I might set up one for a guitarfish (or shovelnose shark as we call it here)

The set up is quite cheap, with some of the money going towards buying two pools, pvc, and a powerful pump. Where most of the money so far was spent was with SALT and SAND. So the set up is relatively inexpensive, but the maintenance is where you'll be spending your money. The pools are anywhere from 130-175 each, pump 275-400, pvc 200, salt and sand 600-800.

Its still way cheaper than setting up a monster tank, and you get way more gallonage. So far im pleased with everything but the way it looks. Wish it didnt look like a kiddy pool, but what are you gonna do. It works.

It looks nice. If you don't want it to look like a kiddy pool, get some krylon fusion to paint it, but that would probably cost a lot, I don't mind the kiddy pool look. Wht sharks going in there?

perhaps atlantic or gray smoothhounds. Dont really know yet.

The salt has been added, so the cycle begins. Almost 500 pounds of sand and you can still see the bottom in a few spots. Ridiculous. Im thinking another 300 pounds. Thinking about buying a few dozen damsels to help this thing cycle. And a few bottles of stability or biospira.
