New Sunfish (id?)

Here it is, he lost some of his slime coat in the picture taking process but when I put him back in the water he was pretty still for a min so I snapped a couple pics, not as blurry. Thanks for everyone who is helpin

Nope, Rosyside dace all the way. The recent photo is good enough for this to be fairly certain.

Thats a pumpkin seed I catch them all the time they are a nice looking fish.

My guess would be Pumpkin seed but thats just because I catch those all the time and have always called them pumpkin seeds. I may have been catching greens so my guess is by no means scientific and therefore renders as useless....

I did keep two of those (pumpkinseeds) at one time in a 55 gallon. They were cool fish. I really liked them. I may try them in my native tank. But I need a larger tank cause the LMB inhabits it right now.
