New Sunsun 304Bs

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
They are comparable. After 3 years of running, mine still works fine.

A few things to note:

1. They lack a good handle; making them hard to move.
2. The latches are of poor quality, be careful with them.

my thoughts exactly. I have about 2 years on one and, knock on wood, it's still working great. it is going to be replaced by a sump, but it still works pretty well all things considered. Not the most efficient can, but not the worst either.

Good bang for the buck.

Like mentioned just be careful when cleaning it, handles for the baskets can break as well when pulling the trays out specially the btm ones. Going on 2+ years with mine and no problems, one broken handle hence the heads up!

I have a friend who says they are great. I can't argue with the pics i have seen of his tank. Super clean. I like the UV feature.

thats the other thing thats a little sketchy. It's not the best and the sleeve fills up with water from time time. Probably isn't much of a safety issue, but it made me think twice.

Interesting. I don't have it so i dont know for sure.

Thanks for all the info, I will pay close attention to these things.

Right now, I am only running the floss pads that it came with to start the bacteria. I will be getting media to put in it shortly and will look at the uv.
