well I'll tell you he wasn't cheap, but neither was the first one. I paid $140 for the first fish and I got my money back on shipping because of the whole usps fiasco which i used to purchase CZ products and thai minerals. They were asking for $500 for him but could only get them down to $300. I'm excited I will def post updates. Just finished setting up his 40 gallon breeder.

Hello Friends,
I'm new to this forum and I need urgent help.

Since, yesterday my flowerhorn hump is getting reduced. The first pic taken just a day before, and the second pic is current status.

i'm no expert here as i'm new also but i do have some experience with fish in general. have you tested your water parameters? ammonia nitrate nitrite and ph? how long have you had him, have you done a water change since or anything that could stress him?

I use Seachem prime water conditioner for well water, but I haven't checked the water parameter. He's with me for last 7 days, and I did 50% water change today with Seachem laboratories. He is active and takes food without any issues. I feed him thrice in a day. Pallet brands are okio and humpy head. Look at his kok, shape is getting weak. IMG_20180623_093423_1.jpg

If I were you I would test my water levels. also when you do your water changes do you match the temperature of the water in his tank? it should be around 86 degrees Fahrenheit. Also many people mix the prime solution into the water they will use to water change and let it sit for a few days. you need to make sure the ph nitrate nitrite and ammonia levels are ok.

Yes, I should check my water level, what would be the best kit for testing. Here in India don't have temp issue, usually around 28 to 30 degree celsius. My heater never turned on during the summer season.
