New to "monster" fish. need help deciding on some.

WHOEVER LIVES ON OAHU AND CAN FIND OR KNOW WHERE I CAN GET RICE PATTY EEL'S (asian swamp eels) LET ME KNOW ASAP I WANT ONE!!!

Oscars are cichlids and you just havent seen the right cichlids my friend. O yeah theres not much monster going in a 29g tank.

well i had my convict and this unidentifiable light purple blue chichlid (he was dark blue when i got him but hes never been since idk why?). they dont do squat =/. they get scared way too easily when i throw a cricket into the tank and never even notice it, then the cricket escapes the tank and i wasted one.

my tiger oscar on the other hand would stay in a corner and eat... and eat... and eat just fine but id consider it a vaccum cleaner, not really enjoyable to watch. i kinda just adopted these fish when my brother moved, my chichlids are also annoying cause they go on pointless killing spree's and murder my plecos without reason (they tear it up and leave it there for me to clean instead of eating them). they would also do this to feeders... pick the fins off and just let it rot!!

there was a 3 inch shoaling piranha i saw on piranha-cove.com but of course their illegal.

right now im tryna find my rice patty eel, they dont sell those in stores but one slithered by my girlfriends feet ON LAND and when i tried to grab it, the thing slipped my fingers and escaped into the stream!!

i been to that stream for years and this is the first i found so i was PISSED!!

i was getting exited too.

any more fierce looking fish that stay small out there who hunt to kill?

so far i know of these;

Oscar (no teeth
Chichlid (dun really consider them predators + they got small mouths + no teeth! ;(
*Electric eel (cool, but how to get one?
*Bichirs (more info please??!
Snakeheads (no room
*Gars (More info please!!
Knife fish (dont look fierce... prove me wrong??
*FW morays (i cant find any!!!

any other things im not aware of??? or info on the fish of my interest and if they fit in 30gal?

A few clarification

- Oscars are cichlid, and THEY do have TEETH!!!
- Electric eel grows BIG, around 5 ft, I doubt you can fit it in a 30G tank
- Electric eel is in the knifefish family (they are not eel)
- Fresh water morays, they all thrive in brackish water
- GARS.. lets not get into it, they grows BIG! unless your keeping false GARS
- Snakehead, not all grows HUGE, you could consider smaller species such as Rainbow

oscars dont have teeth!(?) i checked my oscar when it died and theres nothing in there, just a hard and bumpy surface in their mouth, molars at best!

as for the electric eel / gars i know that the E.Eel is in the knife family X(. i had no reason to say that though... i also know gars get too big, i had fake gars once but all of them died seemingly in sync one day during new years. all smashed into the glass at the same time i had 5 baby needles.

their mentioned on the catchable fish list in the wahiwa reservoir's brochure.. >.>

if i had personal experience id second that... but wikipedia says they dont and their name is "missleading". but its wiki so im not sure. but they still just fin nip and suck scales right?
